We planned this trip during the 3 months lockdown in PNG. As soon as flights resumed, we booked our flights to East New Britain and made this trip a reality.

From the comfort of phones, we were able to secure our flights, which was cheaper as the airlines companies were trying to attract lots of customers to fly.
Thanks to our girlfriend and sister Nancy that accommodated us at Malex for the night to make the early hike. And Yamo Tours for being our transporters and guide for the hike and later the site visits including the Submarine Base at Tavui, the Underground Hospital at Karavi.
